Does Cialis® have any food or drug interactions?
Like many other medicines, Cialis® should not be taken in combination with nitroglycerin/nitrates for heart problems or hypertension (high blood pressure), riociguat, alpha-blockers, grapefruit juice, sildenafil, vardenafil, Adcirca®, ritonavir, doxazosin, or antifungal medicines.
Additionally, the following drugs can increase the effects of Cialis® by altering the drug's metabolism: ketoconazole, erythromycin, itraconazole, rifampin, and clarithromycin.
What won't Cialis® do?
Cialis® will not protect you against sexually transmitted diseases, provide sexual stimulation, make your penis bigger, treat premature ejaculation, or cure other diseases than for which it was prescribed (eg, peyronie’s disease).
Does Cialis® treat anything other than ED?
Yes. Cialis® is approved to aid the following medical issues: pulmonary arterial hypertension (if taken without nitrates) and enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH).
